Drizzlefest
In the deeply regular weather patterns of the San Francisco Bay area, rainfall often cuts off abruptly around April. Sometimes a weak cut-off low will come to visit, and can linger for days, enhancing the marine layer and leading to a Drizzlefest - not real rain but enough to wet surfaces and fall as larger drops of fog drip. The air is invigorating and scented with slightly warmed and moistened earth as a procession of molecules from the the subtropical oceans far off the Southwest pass over the hills and forests.
